Sri Lanka – Polonnaruwa mentally handicapped boys home

We have supported an intellectually handicapped boys home in Polonnaruwa. When we found this home initially their biggest issue was access to water. We have since funded a well with an electric pump and pipes supplying water to all relevant areas of the home. Our group has supplied showers and toilets amongst other utilities such as furniture to the home. The home provides excellent care to the adolescent boys, so much so that there is now a waiting list to get into the home.
In 2014 we opened the second handicapped boys home in Polonnaruwa. Entirely funded by Cobra and Mongoose. The complex houses 30-35 adolescent boys who would otherwise be likely to live on the streets.
